Heartsaver Instructor Essentials Online is the self-guided, online portion of the Heartsaver Instructor Essentials Blended Learning Course.

The Heartsaver Instructor Essentials Online Course is designed to prepare Instructor Candidates to teach American Heart Association Instructor-led and Blended Learning Heartsaver Provider courses. It educates Instructor Candidates on how to use Heart Association Instructor teaching materials, ensures that students meet learning objectives, offers student coaching skills, provides an objective skills performance evaluation, and follows Heart Association Instructor and course policies. This course includes Core module information about instructing Heart Association Heartsaver Provider courses, followed by course-specific information.

NOTE: The online Core module only needs to be completed once. If you have completed the Core module while taking another Instructor Essentials course, it will be marked as completed when taking any additional Instructor Essentials courses.
