The ACLS Instructor Essentials Online is the self-guided, online portion of the ACLS Instructor Essentials Blended Learning Course.
The ACLS Instructor Essentials Course is designed to prepare Instructor Candidates to teach American Heart Association Instructor-led and Blended Learning ACLS Provider courses. It educates Instructor Candidates on how to use Heart Association Instructor teaching materials, ensure that students meet learning objectives, offer student coaching skills, provide an objective skills performance evaluation, and follow Heart Association Instructor and course policies. This course includes a Core module information about instructing Heart Association ACLS Provider courses, followed by course-specific information.
NOTE: The online Core module only needs to be completed once. If you have completed the Core module while taking another Instructor Essentials course, it will be marked as completed when taking any additional Instructor Essentials courses.
