As a Superior Bleeding Control Instructor you will be able to teach two audiences with this blended learning experience. Community Members and Healthcare Providers alike can become skilled in administering life-saving interventions in the case of an accident or mass casualty event. In the workplace, community members can support their co-workers as a first line of defense with advanced first aid skills.

This course serves two important needs as you facilitate a Bleeding Control Skills Workshop:

For Healthcare Providers (HCP), the focus is on the skills needed to refine advanced bleeding control techniques in a variety of emergent situations. Providers will explore methods to create a smooth transition of care from an assisting community member.
For Community Members, they will learn and practice bleeding control skills and how they can support Emergency HCP Responders.
